I just love to know things.
I read Wikipedia wherever and whenever, because I can’t get enough of fun facts, details, didja knows. Like, tell me about your high school, your hometown. Your first dog. Your last love. If you got the Wordle. Let's look at the 5-day forecast. Oh, nice, a sunny day on Friday. What are you going to do?
I love listening and absorbing, and writing and writing and writing, and then editing until my fingers fall off. I analyze words and am curious about new ones, enjoying the moment I have to put my book down and Google, say, frigidarium. I then use these kinds of charming nuggets when presenting copy to leaders of the largest brands in the world. When I get a smile, hell, a smirk, I consider that a success.
Oh, and before I was a copywriter, I was an advertising nepo baby. (Well, kind of, not really. It was a one-and-done thing, I think, out of desperation in the newsroom. But I still love a good pasta.)
